Information About Rates
Some basics about voice-over rates. My voice-over services are independent and I do not work with an agent. Customers like working directly and that we don’t have front-loaded costs to pass on. Much of this kind of work is non-broadcast and is sold as a buyout. This simply means the produced media can run for an unlimited amount of time. While standard terms for internet commercials, broadcast radio, and television ads would be 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year and can be renewed or agree to buyout. As you go through our simple quote request form, you will specify these parameters which enable me to give you an accurate quote. In accordance with industry standards, my fees are comprised of two components: session and usage fees. Session fees are fixed but usage fees are negotiable based on your intended distribution or buyout. If you need a general idea of current industry rates, click here to learn more.
It is important to remember that each project includes edited, pristine audio in your specified format(s). This is precisely what will be delivered. Keep in mind, however, your copy matters and should be:
-
- free of run-on sentences
- free of grammatical and syntax errors
- specify how acronyms are to be read (eg: “ACT” or “A See Tee”)
- specify how symbols and slashes are to be read (eg: $3/hour = 3 dollars “per” or “an” hour)
Inform me of any minor pickups or retakes due to performance within one week of delivery. Retakes due to script errors or minor modifications will incur a charge. Re-writes constitute a new project and incur an additional session fee.
I do provide English language editing services as an add-on for Overseas clients and add-on script writing services for your project upon request. But, I read exactly what is on the script. So, it’s best to make sure the copy is good before we record.
Last, but not least, initial audio is “watermarked” and I keep the final recording until final payment is received.
My goal is to provide great voice-acting, great audio, and a great service experience. I look forward to working with you.
